La mayoría del pueblo Hondureño defiende la democracia constitucional contra las acciones y ambiciones de Hugo Chávez y Fidel Castro de apoderarse de nuestra vida nacional, y de imponer su ideología autoritaria en todo el Continente.

A TODOS LOS PUEBLOS DE AMÉRICA:

LLAMAMOS a comprender el valor de esta lucha y a cooperar solidariamente con nosotros a pesar del abandono y la incomprensión de sus gobiernos.

ANUNCIAMOS que en Honduras se nos trata de imponer un régimen despótico al exigirnos el retorno del Sr. Manuel Zelaya Rosales.

ALERTAMOS que restituir al Sr. Zelaya ES LEGITIMAR, en América, EL AUTORITARISMO Y LA ARBITRARIEDAD, en desobediencia de la Constitución de la República; en desacato a la separación e independencia entre los Poderes del Estado; y violación al respeto de los derechos y libertades fundamentales de todo el pueblo.

The great majority of the Honduran people defend constitutional democracy against the ambitions of Hugo Chavez and Fidel Castro, and their plan to take over our national livelihood, and to impose their authoritarian ideology throughout the continent.

TO ALL THE PEOPLE OF THE AMERICAS:

We call upon you to understand the value of this struggle and join our efforts, even though your governments have chosen to ignore the fight.

We denounce that an authoritarian and despotic regime is being forced upon us, by insisting on the return of Mr. Zelaya Rosales.

We alert other nations, that reinstating Mr. Zelaya equates to LEGITIMIZING, in America, AUTHORITARIANISM, by ignoring the Constitution, the separation of powers, and violating the rights and liberties that are fundamental to every nation.
